Nestornotes Docs
Setup

Cursor Setup

Use Nestornotes context inside Cursor agent workflows.

Use this guide when Cursor can connect to MCP tools for project or workspace agents.

MCP Server

Setup

  1. Open Cursor's MCP or tools settings for the workspace.
  2. Add a server named Nestornotes.
  3. Use the MCP server URL above.
  4. Choose OAuth or browser authorization when Cursor asks how to authenticate, or configure an Authorization header with Bearer <your Nestornotes API key>.
  5. Ask Cursor to search saved knowledge, inspect source summaries, or compare recent collection updates before changing code.

If Cursor cannot use OAuth for remote MCP, configure an API-key bearer header. For shell workflows, the Nestornotes CLI is a good fallback.
