OpenClaw Setup

Add Nestornotes as a source base for OpenClaw agents.

Use this guide when an OpenClaw agent can connect to MCP tools or run shell commands.

MCP Server

Setup

  1. Open the OpenClaw agent or workspace tool settings.
  2. Add a server named Nestornotes.
  3. Use the MCP server URL above.
  4. Choose OAuth or browser authorization when OpenClaw asks how to authenticate, or configure an Authorization header with Bearer <your Nestornotes API key>.
  5. Ask OpenClaw to use Nestornotes for collection-scoped source lookup and summarized context.

If OpenClaw cannot use OAuth for remote MCP, configure an API-key bearer header. For shell-based workflows, use the Nestornotes CLI.
