Hermes Agents Setup

Use this guide when a Hermes Agents workspace can connect to MCP tools or run command-line tools.

Setup

1. Open the Hermes Agents tool or MCP settings.
2. Add a server named Nestornotes.
3. Use the MCP server URL above.
4. Choose OAuth or browser authorization when Hermes Agents asks how to authenticate, or configure an Authorization header with Bearer <your Nestornotes API key>.
5. Ask Hermes Agents to retrieve summaries, search collections, or inspect saved source updates from Nestornotes.

If Hermes Agents cannot use OAuth for remote MCP, configure an API-key bearer header. For shell-first agent runs, configure the Nestornotes CLI instead.
