Windsurf Setup

Bring Nestornotes source context into Windsurf agent workflows.

Use this guide when Windsurf can connect to MCP tools for an agent or workspace.

MCP Server

Setup

  1. Open Windsurf's MCP or tool settings.
  2. Add a server named Nestornotes.
  3. Use the MCP server URL above.
  4. Choose OAuth or browser authorization when Windsurf asks how to authenticate, or configure an Authorization header with Bearer <your Nestornotes API key>.
  5. Ask Windsurf to query Nestornotes before it researches dependencies, release notes, market updates, or project knowledge.

If Windsurf cannot use OAuth for remote MCP, configure an API-key bearer header. For command-line agents, use the Nestornotes CLI with an API key.
